At its core, JammuBasket (Incarnation Retail Pvt Ltd) is an E-retail company. The team is working to solve last-mile unavailability of the needs & essentials that are not available in J&K.

This jammy-based startup works for the community to deliver daily needs & essential items directly to the doorstep and is focused on Groceries, Daily essentials & home needs, however, we have the vision to expand our reach to multiple segments.

This retail-based company also aims to work on providing value in terms of cost, accuracy & quality.

The mission of Jammu Basket is “to introduce to the tradition and culture of Jammu, they want to portray the identity of Jammu.”

How did it start?

The tech-based startup started in the year of 2020, they started working through WhatsApp, and then in the year of 2021, they launched their startup. In February 2021, the startup became a pan-India-based Startup.

The founder from the very beginning realized that all the people of Jammu and Kashmir never knew anything outside or people who are outside are unaware of Jammu and Kashmir. He realized that people don’t explore Jammu much. He also realized that the products in the Himachal and Jammu areas are very pure and good.

He believed that he could transform tourism in Jammu to retail. He also explored that there is a huge potential in starting a retail business in the tier-2 cities in Jammu.

Growth rate

The numbers that were expected in the initial stages of the venture are not met in the present. However, the venture started with an investment of 40,000 INR and the business was of 1.2 cr INR. The expected growth is 5-6 cr.

Revenue Model

The Jammu-based Startup has 60% of repeated customers. This led to a lot of repeat orders which can be one of the revenue channels. The target is to create a 1 million number of customers.

Unique features

There is an intricate customer feedback system in which customer feedback is analyzed and studied to provide them with products that suit their needs. The requirements and complaints of customers are fastidiously solved through this system.

The target audience is divided into four parts. One form of the target audience is the people who are living in the city. The other target audience is the people who have migrated to the city and are unaware of the products that the city has to offer.

Tourists and travelers are also another target audience or consumers. The other Group of the target audience is the people who have migrated to other cities outside of Jammu.

Future Expansion Plans

This single-founded startup wants to make it into a standard packaging system. They want to incorporate the local products into their own brand and then put it into the different forms of platform.
