VAPT is commonly known as ethical hacking. Though colloquially referred to as ethical hacking, in the security context, it is termed as VAPT, inspiring the company’s nomenclature.

As data protection becomes an integral aspect of day-to-day lives, from small businesses to personal affairs, this solo-founder startup recognizes the importance of securing information, both digital and offline. Information Security, positioned as covering both Information Technology (IT) and IT security, assumes a prominent role at the forefront.

How did it start?

This idea of the startup is actually not entirely new. It started brewing two decades back when Mr. Gupta used to work and was in the manual removal of viruses for a project in Symantec. He gained vast experience in offensive security.

Imagine being a cyber detective on the attack, not waiting for threats but actively hunting and stopping the bad guys. Methods like offensive penetration testing are used to uncover and shut down harmful operations in the cyber world. It’s a proactive way to keep the digital space safe.

VAPT being his core passion and expertise, his dream bloomed and this project started. The tagline for the company stands as ‘We secure risks’.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, India, the journey of this venture goes beyond geographical boundaries, and by the year 2019,  has expanded to Europe in Tallinn, Estonia.
