The vision is to make it as easy for people to donate anything reusable as it is to order food or online shopping.

The mission of Share at Doorstep is to create an ecosystem where everything reusable reaches someone in need and does not end up in a landfill.

Anushka says, “We want to have a social and environmental impact by reducing waste and supporting the needy. We also want to create awareness and educate people about the importance of reusing and recycling. We want to make donating a habit and a lifestyle for everyone.”

How did it start?

Anushka, the founder, drew inspiration from her mother’s annual tradition of donating clothes on her birthday. Recognizing the lack of an easy and accessible way to donate items, she identified a gap between people wanting to donate and NGOs in need.

This realization fueled the idea of Share at Doorstep, aiming to create a seamless connection between those with items to give and NGOs requiring donations.

This environment-friendly venture is based out of Bengaluru and currently operates in 11 major cities across India, including Delhi, Gurgaon, NCR, Ghaziabad, Noida, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, and Kolkata.

The company expanded to Singapore in March, with plans to reach 80 more cities in India, focusing on light pickup services.
